Dear English speaking friends of tin-figures,
Welcome to my web-site! I should like to give you a general view of my online-shop.
To the left you will find the various departments which contain the following offers:
Here you will find the figures from my own production, made from the moulds in my possession. The files are arranged chronologically and thematically. The figures are illustrated as drawings in appr. 50% size. The bold number (sometimes with a small bold letter added) beneath the drawing means the reference number. The abbreviation on the left of the number informs you about the designer, the one on the right about the engraver. For more details follow the link “Erläuterungen” at the end of each site. In case the original drawing no longer exists, the reconstructions are marked with an italic “ r ”.
The figures of my own production you can obtain as unpainted figures in whatever quantity you need (as long as the mould does not break, which may happen even when handled with great care).
After the drawings you will find pictures of painted figures in most of the files. These figures are painted in oil and at least one of each is in stock. If you need more than one, or figures which are not in stock you can order them nevertheless (but bear in mind that they cannot be delivered for at least three months, as painting in oil means several phases of drying.
“bemalte Serien (Flachfiguren)”
Here you will find painted flats in 30 mm size from various producers. The series for sale are scanned by me and put in my websites in 50% of the original size. Please bear in mind that large series are not shown with all the figures for reasons of clearness. The accurate quantity is explained on the right side of the picture (“Fußer” = “footman”, “Reiter” = “horseman” and “Gruppe” = “group”). There is usually only one series in stock, so I cannot give guarantee of availability.
“blanke Serien (Flachfiguren)”
For these unpainted flats goes the same as for the painted ones, except that they are subdivided in files. In case you would like to have more than one of these series or single figures, please contact me by e-mail. I shall inform you whether I can oblige.
“Vitrinenfiguren (Flachfiguren)”
Here you will find flats painted and unpainted in a larger size than 30 mm.
These are toy-figures, deeper engraved than flats, but not really 3 dimensional. The moulds used to be produced for the purpose of personal casting.
These are kits of 3 dimensional figures in the usual 54 mm size unless requested otherwise. Most of them are by producers who have ceased their production, so many of the kits can only be delivered once.
That is my offer of painted 3 dimensional figures in the 54 mm size, as long as no other size is required.
In addition to the figures we offer second hand literature dealing with historical themes and modelling figures.
Finally I beg you to appreciate me not translating all the detailed descriptions of the figures. As the offers are constantly changing the effort of translating into several languages would prove too much. But I am sure you wil find your way about, the dates speak for themselves and it is obvious, that “Grenadier” means “grenadier” and “Husar” means “hussar”. You have probably guessed this already. And the pictures tell more than words!
And now enjoy yourself exploring my sites!
